Description

There are numerous object designations in this wide field image.
Some readily visible objects are:
 - On the left is B220, which is the darker portion of the Taurus Molecular cloud and also  contains IC 2087.
 - Near the Top is B10, which also seems to have some reflection nebula, unusual for a Barnard object..
 - On the right is the baby eagle nebula, LBN 777.
 - Around the middle is B18, also known as Kutner's Cloud.

In general, the Taurus Molecular Cloud is a molecular cloud in the constellations Taurus and Auriga. This cloud hosts a stellar nursery containing hundreds of newly formed stars The Taurus Molecular Cloud is 430 light years away from Earth, making it possibly the nearest large star formation region.
